Privacy Policy
What data Anode Labs collects, and what it does not.
Effective date: 2026-04-13. Last updated: 2026-05-09.
What Anode Labs does not collect
- We do not set cookies on anode-labs.com.
- We do not use third-party trackers, advertising networks, or social-media pixels.
- We do not operate a newsletter, a user account system, or any profile data store.
What Anode Labs collects
- Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, free tier). It records anonymous, aggregate page-view metrics — no IP addresses are retained, no individual browsing session is profiled.
- Email contact. When you email us at [email protected], your message and address are stored in a standard email mailbox for as long as necessary to respond and to keep a support history.
Apps
Anode Labs apps and plugins (Bitcrust, Earshot) are designed to work without collecting your data:
- No telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporters. None of our apps make network requests for the purpose of observing how you use them.
- No accounts, no sign-in, no cloud sync. All progress and settings live on your device, in standard per-app storage. Nothing is sent to a server we control because we do not run a server.
- No advertising or third-party SDKs. The apps do not embed analytics, attribution, or ad networks.
- Offline by default. Earshot has no network code at all. Bitcrust does not phone home; any update checks happen through the platform store, not us.
If we ever change this, the Apple App Store and Google Play Store privacy labels for the affected app will change first, and this page will be updated to match.
Purchases
Apple App Store (macOS / iPadOS / iOS)
Purchases on the Apple App Store are handled entirely by Apple. Apple processes all payment and customer data under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Anode Labs only receives aggregate sales reporting from Apple, not individual customer information.
Google Play Store (Android)
Purchases and free installs on Google Play are handled entirely by Google. Google processes all payment and customer data under Google’s Privacy Policy. Anode Labs only receives aggregate install / purchase reporting from Google, not individual customer information.
Gumroad (Windows / Linux)
Windows and Linux downloads are sold through Gumroad. Gumroad processes payments and manages customer data under Gumroad’s Privacy Policy. Anode Labs receives your email address and purchase details for license fulfilment and support purposes only.
Data-subject requests
If you wish to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we may hold (realistically: email correspondence), contact [email protected].
